“i hope someone educates rowan on what ‘queer’ means. she said that she is queer because she’d be okay if she liked another girl. that’s great, but if you never experienced life like an lgbtq person has, then you can’t really call yourself lgbtq. just bc you’d be OKAY with yourself if you ever possibly sometime-in-the-vague-future experienced same-sex attraction doesn’t mean you are actually gay/bi. it just means you’re open/liberal/free-spirited/etc. which is cool. but doesn’t make you queer.”
